IT IS POSSIBLE. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE, SPECIALLY KIDS SLEEP WITH THEIR EYES OPEN. MY X-ROOMMATE TOLD ME THAT I SLEPT WITH MY EYES OPEN AND THAT IT WAS SCARY THEN FUNNY. I THINK IT IS POSSIBLE.

I researched it, and I found this; [Quote] Most people and children who sleep with one or both eyes open do so only for a short time, probably as a symptom of extreme sleep loss. However, in some cases open-eyed sleeping can cause or indicate a far more serious condition.[End quote] However, if you don't have a extreme sleep loss symptom, it could just be genetic,so I don't think you should worry too much about it. Open eyes sleeping is called lagophthalmos, but usually that's only one eye . . .

Yes it is. My whole family has told me that as a child I used to sleep with my eyes open and how it used to freak them out (especially my sister). My dad apparently still does it and has to sleep in a room that is completely black otherwise he doesn't sleep well. I don't think this is something you can control, otherwise I don't think anyone would do it intentionally.

yes, but it isnt advisable, as your eyes can get particles in them and become irritated, plus, they'll probably close on their own eventually (don't try to do it intentionally-it won't work, youll just end up sitting in bed with your eyes watering all night)
