in case you're particular you're shifting in the previous registration is due fantastic, circulate get the recent registration for the two vehil=cles asap I propose you end fee on the exams make a photograph replica of the recent colorado registration and mail that to the dmv, clarify you stopped fee on 2 exams to the state of CA make an apology and ask in case you owe any overdraft costs to the state. save copies, and if something does ensue (which I doubt) you have achieved each thing a classic guy or woman might do to attempt to freshen up your accedental sending of registration costs once you have been for sure leaving the state besides. solid success. colorado is less warm interior the iciness than CA. however the air became greater energizing the place we lived exterior of boulder.

Depends on what state you are from. In many states, they mail you a renewal form, usually 4 to 8 weeks prior to the expiration date. But many states also say it is the owners responsibility to renew their registration. Which basically it is. So keep an eye on when your registration expires and renew it before it expires.
Different states allow you to renew it early..NJ is up to 3 months ahead of expiration date. So check out your states website and find it out.

You should receive a renewal reminder if...it doesn't get lost in the mail ( OR ) if your address is not the same address that is on your drivers license .... you will not get the renewal notice.
Most Post Offices will not forward official mail due to the personal information act.
Check your plate to see when it expires and go to DMV or renew online.

You should have received a renewal in the mail, if you haven't you can renew on-line. just search vehicle registration renewal. I did it and my new registration and license plate sticker came in the mail about 4 days later.

Once your vehicle is registered, it is registered forever until you sell it. You should get a notice every year about one month from the time the license plate needs renewing.
