besides being yappy,,do they really shed as much as other long haired dogs ???and anyone near west central saskatchewan have one to sell or give away ?????

Pomeranian is what I think you are talking about. I have one. I don't have problems with shedding. They aren't really that yappy. Mine is quite calm. Yes, now that I think about it...they can be yappy when excited about something. The dog we breed her too is quite laid back and isn't yappy. Your best bet to find one is through the newspapers... pet shops usually have pomeranians but they are probably from puppy mills unless its an independent pet store.

I go over to my aunts house every day after school. She has 2 pomeranians they are brother and sister. They are not very yappy,the girl is kinda but the boy barely barks at all. my aunt keeps them shaved so they don't shed,and i personally think they look cuter shaved and not with long hair.They make such good pets. I don't like the girl very much and she hates me ,for some reason.But i love the boy he is one of my best friends.I think if you get one that you should probably get a boy they seem to be more friendly and not as yappy. I would highly recommend getting a pom. I hope this helps. If you decide to get one,good luck I'm sure you will be very happy with it.

Besides being yappy, they are nippy, too. They are a long haired dog and shed a lot. Not to mention the fact that they need to be professionally groomed and you need to brush every day at home, too. Research the breed to be sure that a pom is what you truly want before you get one. They aren't for everyone.

I don't remember our poms shedding that much, then again, it's been 15 years, so.... They were certainly yappy though.

Yes they shed a lot i have 3 poms and i pick up tons daily.

My Pom sheds alot. We comb her to help get rid of some of the hair.

My 3 poms shed a lot but if you comb them and groom them normally (Cheaper to do it yourself), They wont shed as much.
