When i went to a nascar race in March for the Las Vegas race we had pit passes and we were watching a crew member take the lug nuts off of Dale Earnhardt Jr's Bud chevrolet, the crew member picked up the lug nuts and handed one to me. I put it on a necklace and wear it around, some people say it is stupid, do you think it is stupid or cool? what is your opition?

Well, I guess it would be kinda cool. I would be concerned though that he was giving a lug nut away right before a race. I hope he had more in the garage. Wouldn't want the tire to come off on turn 3 because you have it. lol lol

I've been to a ton of Nascar races and have a ton of lug nuts! But, never have I been that inventive with them! They just sit in a cabinet with all my memorabilia and Collect dust! Plus you got it from Jr's car, if I had one from his car I would make my son a necklace with it! You know what, who cares what others think, all that matters is that your happy with it! Don't cheat your creativity, because of worrying about what everyone else thinks! Keep wearing the necklace!

OH SO FRIKKIN KOOL~~~ you go gurl~and don't let these losers on here show u how to be the BEST NASCAR gal you can be~~~we have a Dale Jr. nut, 4 of Jimmies and 4 of Jeff's and lots that we got at Evernhams of Kasey's. We put them all on a bandana and it hangs on our rearview mirror. If anyone messes with us three girls , they'll get smacked up along side the head with it.LOL[no serious. Hmm, I'm not a NASCAR fan but that seems a little odd. I think that it is cool that you have the souvenir, but how does it feel around your neck? Lug nuts are kind of heavy so that would be my thought.

I don't think that's stupid at all. What a great souvenier. I'd love to have a pit row pass and a lug nut off of Tony Stewart's car! I don't think wearing it around my neck would be my style.

Personally, I think it's VERY COOL ! ! ! I would love to have a lug nut off of my driver's car. I would have not only worn it that day, but I might never take it off again, unless of course it was to shower, I wouldn't want to get it wet ! ! ! I say to each his or her own, I guess it would also depend on how bad you've got it for NASCAR ! ! !

that's lame. I'm sorry, but if I saw someone with lug nuts on a necklace, I'd silently laugh to myself (Because I'm nice enough not to embarass you in public.). Sorry, it's just a little strange.

I have a dozen of them but none on a necklace.4 of them are autographed.I also have a display that has one from a street Monte Carlo and one from a cup Monte Carlo(RCR #31) to show the difference.
So cool.
