Shopping. The shops are really good, there's The Promenade and also Regent's Arcade. In the Arcade there's a clock that blows bubbles every hour. The architecture is good, mainly Georgian. Again see the promenade and the Pump Room. It is famous for its parks. You can go on a boat on the lake at Pitville Park and feed the ducks. There are lots of good schools. There is a good poet's group where you can go and listen to poetry and read your own all year and then once a year there is the Cheltenham Literary Festival.

I went to college in Gloucester 25 years ago and often visited Cheltenham.

It will have changed a great deal from then, but I suppose the biggest advantage was that it had so many gorgeous women!!!!

Aparently at the time, there where more women than men in the tiown.
