Is anyone reading these questions here because they are searching for something, or is it mostly entertainment?
If you've had a personal experience with God, could you share it? Is there a place in this amazing cyberspace world that people get together to talk about their revelations - even small ones?
A moment changed my life, and allowed me to accept Christ...where years of society and study could not. I know our personal walk with God is between us and God, but there seems to be more to this story.
God bless.

Yes, I have studied the effects of frontal lobe stress, pineal gland abnormalities, and melatonin flucuations. It kept me from truly believing. A recent CT scan and oxygen tests proved negative and relieved many months of Satan's pull.
I appreciate the serious answers, and I pray that the ones with mockery find the courage to someday open the door when Christ knocks - He can change you (notice I said CAN, not WILL).

One time I was walking home from my girlfriend's house. It was a ten mile walk and it was winter. It was freezing cold and I was getting numb. I was trying to hitch hike (this was in 1977) but it was late and there were few cars. Nobody was stopping anyway. I got scared. I was really getting cold. I looked to heaven and asked God to please let someone stop for me. Just then I saw a spectacular, bright meteor, streak across the sky. A second later I saw headlights rounding the curve. That car brought me all the way home to my front steps, and it wasn't even out of the man's way! He just so happend to be going by there and it wasn't a direct route. He was also a very nice person with whom I had a good conversation.

I've noticed that many people became Athiest after years of study and debate over which is true...
I became a Christian not because of study, simply because in one moment i felt God tugging on my heart, the conviction was incredible. I surrendered to God and by golly, I'm so glad I did.
I come here to answer sincere questions --from any religious perspective-- but I also get some entertainment. I mean, God has a sense of humor.
Some of the things are just unnecesary though. Mocking God just because you can is...well, stupid.

When you have a experience with God it is indescribable. It is very soft, calm and peaceful. You remember but you don't. When you try to explain it to others they look at you like you are crazy unless they have had a experience as well. Continue to ask God to increase in your life as you decrease. Pray to him in Spirit and truth.

Jebus told me to take LSD. I thought about it a bit and did.
Afterwards he seemed a bit ridiculous; his eyes were shifty and I could tell he'd been drinking. He wanted me to come over to 'study' with him but I refused. When he started to raise his voice, talking about our 'personal relationship', it was like the shaky backdrop of some amateur theatre had fallen over exposing the concrete shell of his deceit. I made my excuses, pushing past him and left.
I never saw him again.

A little understanding of how the human brain works would negate the validity of any and all so called 'personal experiences with god' I suppose, though, you are too comfortable with your ignorance to dare delve into it.

I'm here mostly for the entertainment value. I'd say there's only one question a week that really gets me thinking enough to really require deep thought.
No offense meant to the people who ask otherwise good questions. I just set my standards for thought unreasonably high. :)
