Well for one you will make a lousy parent when they trun teenage as you can't realte as you aint done all the partying, travelling and uni.

It helps to have done all the things they are likely to do or be into and develop a career so you can teach them all that.

Plus for them to have a good role model mum who was smart, went to uni, developed a career abnd became someone who they can aspire to.

Likewise you want to be able to earn enough money to give them a decent life, if a safe decent area free drom addicts, muggers and gangs.

To be educated yourself so you can educate them,.

And foryourself there is so much more you can do with your life and travel the world and experience diffeernt places and cultures and all the parties and social life and dating etc that you wont be able to do if you have a kid young

And you will take it out on the kid for missing out.

Ending up miserable in **** hole where the boy will most likly get fed up and disappear.

Apart from the economic issues, you are not full grown until you are 20-21, so no matter how busty you are at 14 your pelvis has several more years of growing to do until then. Having a baby in your teens makes complications (incontinence, horrendous forceps deliveries etc.) more likely. Best to have babies between 21 and 35.

Because you're most likely overall not ready for one: financially and emotionally, it's really hard on a parent, especially on a single parent. You've got no more freedom, people don't accept you as they should, and a heapload of worries and stress comes along with a baby. Once you've found a partner you can trust and that you are completely ready for a child in your life is when you should have a baby.

Basically because the support systems aren't in place to help.

Living on benefits is not really the best way to bring up a little one.

Also the maturity factor is not always there (please not I said not always - not that it isn't there ever).) and bringing up a baby requires dedication and commitment.

I am 35 and have just had my first and sometimes it is hard remembering that it is not just me anymore - I am responsible for a little life - trying to cope with that at 15 0r 16 yes of age is a lot to take on.

Because of the type of world we live in. Society is too narrow minded to accept that younger people might actually want to have kids and help bring the worlds population up instead of having and focusing on a career and nothing else.
