Am I handling this right?
I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he has a gf. I told him I liked him and I felt it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should get a bf on my own. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. The thing is I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. The thing is that he ignored me. So far, we've been ignoring each other for the past 3 weeks and now it is awkward and i miss talking to him sometimes. Whenever we pass each other it is awkward. What should I do?

He's got a girlfriend, told you to get a guyfriend but he still asked you to hook up. I'm sorry, all this guy wants from you is sex and my advice is to turn your attention elsewhere.

If he's not talking to you that makes it very convenient to keep your relationship strictly professional.

It's never a good idea to hook up with someone who is involved with someone else, and it's rarely a good idea to hook up with someone from work. The two combined is a recipe for disaster.

You were right...this guy IS a dog. He enjoys the ego boost of being adored by you. Think of his ignoring you as a gift.

Let it be awkward girl. Get over him because obviously he is jerking your feelings around because he knows you like him. He's just being ignorant. Show him you can move on and you don't need him!! You can find your own man.

Speak to him tell hm why you acted that way. and respect his relationship with his girlfriend. You can only be a booty call to him because he is obviously happy with his girl. He was right. Find a bf of your own and leave him alone in that capacity.

just leave it alone, and get on with your life. he was jerking your feelings around, and deserved what you said. find someone else preferably not a guy friend.

He was mean and you should not have any guilt over nothing. Just be friends.
