I use a nice mix of fruits like strawberry-banana or fruits by themselves like cantelope or mango.

I cut the fruit up and put it in the blender.

Then, depending on my mood and what's in my fridge, I do one of two things-

add a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, a teaspoon of sugar and enough milk to make it a smoothie

or

add a small package of full fat plain yogurt and a teaspoon of sugar

my dad used to make smoothies and the best one i ever tasted was he made one with pinapple and a tiny bit of vanilla ice cream

he used to have this book full of smoothie ideas, cant remember what is called but it has 100's of them in

A smoothie with a difference: - 1 measure/shot of vodka
10 large strawberries
2 oz pineapple
I large scoop of good quality vanilla ice cream
½ banana
100ml of freshly queezed orange juice.

put everything into a liquidiser and Wizz!!! extremely tasty and refreshing!!

Golden Smoothies
1-1/2 cups orange juice
1 carton (8 ounces) peach yogurt
1 can (5-1/2 ounces) apricot nectar
1 teaspoon honey
Orange slices and maraschino cherries, optional
Place the first four ingredients in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; garnish with oranges and cherries if desired. Yield: 3 cups.

Chocolate Banana Smoothies
2 cups cold 2% milk
1 package (1.4 ounces) sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 large ripe frozen bananas, sliced
2 cups coarsely crushed ice cubes
In a blender, combine the milk, pudding mix and vanilla; cover and process until blended. Add the bananas and ice; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.

Pineapple Smoothies
1-1/2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
1 cup 1% buttermilk
2 cups ice cubes
2 cans (8 ounces each) unsweetened crushed pineapple
1/4 cup sugar
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 6 servings.

Raspberry Smoothies
1 cup milk
1 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries
1 small ripe banana, cut into chunks
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup raspberry yogurt
In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until blended. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 3 servings.

Springtime Lime Slushy
2 packages (3 ounces each) lime gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
2 quarts lime sherbet
3 cups ginger ale, chilled
In a freezer container, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in the cold water and sherbet until combined. Freeze for 4 hours or until set.
Remove from the freezer 45 minutes before serving. For each serving, place 1 cup of slush mixture in a glass; add abo

hand full of frozen strawberries,
1 fresh bananna
hand full of frozen blueberries
hand full of sliced frozen apricots
1 Cup milk
2 Cups Ice

or

1 bananna
2 tbs peanut butter
1 Cup milk
2 Cups Ice

both work really well if you mix in protien mix also. sooooooo yummy!!

use frozen fruin instead of ice and for a top or healthy kit flax seeds or some form of fiber and granola is good to
