Most likely called unemployable!
Because its hard to get a job without having bilingual languages (English&French) living in Eastern Ontario.
Even though there is not much consideration for a third language which would be beneficial in the workplace and services.
Bilingual can mean any two languages like mandarin and english, and so on.
Unilingual is most recognizable as it pertains to Canada a Bilingual country - English & French.
Although it appears Quebec wants french only in Quebec, and at the same times wants access to french speaking services in all the other provinces.
And so unwittingly languages leads to politics.
I am not certain about USA having issues of bilingualism.
so its stand to normal american people would say monolingual as certainly mono means one-single as well as uni means - one-single.
Surely the question was a joke.
