Why do you think we think that? Have you not studied evolution? We share common ancestors with apes. I would recommend a quick google search for more details.

You evidently have never read a book on evolution. We did not evolve from apes. Humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor, big difference.

It was the most viable genetic change accomplished to deal with thesurvival pressures that group of apes was exposed to.

No we didn't, apes and chimps and us developed from the same proto mammal humanoid. Why? Because I was taught that in school

Like others have said we have a common ancestor. And I think that because theres facts that back it up, and I don't see any more logical answer.
