I would like to send a letter but I suck in english, can you write the follow frase correctly?

"hi, my name is "name" and I am very interested in applying for the program: "program” that your university offers. I’d like to get to know better the application form for the program that starts in september 2008 and detail when do i have to send the application form and all the documents that you requiere"

Thanks but the "get to know better" is more like "know more about" and the part of "do i have to send?" is more like: "what else i have to send" or "what documents i have to send"
