A kid is never too young for a buzz cut! buzz cuts are quick and easy (which is great because children tend to get antsy sitting too long)... Sure sometimes they are scared of the clippers or trimmer, but if you graze the trimmer over your skin in front of the child and ask to try it on them so they know it isnt painful... its a breeze! There is never a time table on a buzz cut! It is low maintenance and a perfect solution for active boys or men for that matter! Im not saying it is your only option but I was always pleased to give a kid a buzz cut!

i think you can get a buzz cut at any age b/c its a great neat hair cut and you can dress it up or just hang out w/ it so i dont think there is any age limit, my brother has had one since he was like 10 and he's almost 16 now and still has one and my moms husband has one and he's 42 and it doesnt look like he's changing any time soon

any age is okay, but if your kid is even slightly over-weight, dont do it b/c no hair makes a person look A LOT fatter
