In 2005 the US prisons housed 4.682 blacks per 100,000.....1.856 latinos per 100.000... and 709 whites per 100,000 and the numbers keep rising each year.

Strange that you ask that. Actually I don't really feel that idea is true. The thing I do know is that a lot of blacks go to prison while whites seem to get off with little time to serve or no time to serve at all. One problem is that a lot of blacks are involved in the drug trade and that may be why they get arrested more often. So thinking about this as a black or white problem is very interesting. The attitude about drugs in America is that they don't really hurt anybody except for those who die of overdoses or the fact that a lot of prostitution is practiced by drug addicts who don't know better. So if drugs don't hurt anybody why does the above happen? Because drugs do hurt people and in many more ways than they think. So blacks do a lot of drug selling and as a result they get arrested more. Actually, drugs are the reason most people get arrested.

It's not, in more ways than one.

Blacks make up way more than 12% of the population, and they are not responsible for the "majority" of crime in the United States.

Racist propaganda which you'd be advised to ignore.

No. Whites/Caucasians commit the majority of crimes.

According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau as of July 1, 2005 and the FBI:

Black or African Americans (in 2005) represented 12.8% of the population and were responsible for 30.195% of total crime.

Whites (in 2005) represented 80.2% of the population and were responsible for 67.347% of total crime.

These are just the statistics. Draw from them whatever conclusions you wish.

a majority of crimes committed in the united states are committed by white males.

true, a higher percentage of the black and hispanic populations commit crime, which is most likely due to the fact that a higher percentage of minorities live in poverty.

There is a higher percentage of black people being arrested and incarcerated, but it has more to do with racism in the judicial system and society, and the unfortunate fact that black people are still more likely to grow up in poverty than white people.

I think in abosolute numbers they don't commit most of the crimes. As a percentage of their race, blacks and hispanics commit more crimes.

Check the FBI stats on this.

According to the UCR from the FBI-- in 2005
Roughly 10.1 Million arrests of white people (69.8%)
Roughly 2.8 million arrests of blacks (27.8%)

That's Arrests not convitions-- which is a different story.

Yes, there is truth to this statement. All you have to do is look at the jail/prison population. Blacks are the majority in jails and prisons. Nothing racist about what I just said, because it is the truth.

I hope not. I know it should depend on what area. Rumor has it that it's labeled as such: black = armed robberies and stolen cars, whites = sadistic serial killings and hispanic = robberies. We wouldn't be American if we didn't label people. Not that I'm saying that's a good thing, sad huh?
