Someone responded to a Gandalf question with this: (paraphrased)... about the bible...
"why would I want to read the mythology of quasi-historic, semi-nomadic, semetic goat herders?"
That was one of the funniest ever! I laughed so hard I could barely type my own response.

It wasn't an answer to my question but the funniest response I have ever seen was that there is no evidence that man walked upright more than six thousand years ago. This, of course, was when the Garden of Eden existed.

For the funniest these take the biscuit.
"Anyone can leave Islam anytime."
- Sen B
"Turkey is not 99 percent Muslim or anywhere near it...It shouldn't be a democracy because democracies are the least stable form of government."
- Berzik
"There are 5,000 Jews in Egypt."
-Isadora
"I will laugh when Allah punishes you on the Day of Judgment."
-Robed Zombie
"Did we ever hear of 15 million Arab Christians being persecuted?"
- Affan
"Aisha was 9 and looked like she was 20."
"There are plenty of Christians who want to kill Muslims."
"Jews teach their children that non-Jews are not humans and have to be killed."
"No one ever leaves the true religion."
-Forgot who
EDIT:
Isadora, yes, that's correct. Islam means submission and salaam means peace. I may not be Naguib Mahfouz, but I know enough Arabic to tell the difference between one word and another. AND I proved I knew the language before! I translated your post and I answered you in Arabic more than once.

this one from mr question mark who doesn't under stand the arabic at all although he claimed to be an ex-muslim egyptian:_
"Islam does NOT mean peace. 'Islam' is an Arabic verb meaning 'submission' or 'surrender.' 'Salaam' is the Arabic word for 'peace.' Islam and salaam are related but not the same...If that's what you're asking. Your question was kinda vague. Could you rephrase it in greater detail?
Lol, three thumbs downs, and all I did was give a vocabulary lesson in my own language. What is WRONG with you people? Can't you stomach ANY CRITICISM? "
2) and another one from another ex-muslim girl who declared the anal sexual intercourse is completely ISLAMIC!!!!!!!
and she reported all the answers the respectful and non respectful whom refuted her words!!!!!!

"There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses."
Ezekiel 23:20
I'm a Christian. That verse is hilarious. If you read the context, it's a really good lesson.

well it wasnt really an answer, it was an email.
i replied to a question and got an email from someone else. the way they typed it was really the funniest part. apparently i must have some mental problem if i cant see that "god resides in the heavens and satan resides in hell"
i think the idea that i couldnt see magical, make beleive men meant that i was crazy.
.......yeah....odd.
