I'm not really much of a drinker, at 19, yes strange I know. I've tried a few beers here and there and didn't really care for there taste or anyting. But I'm curisos about how it would feel to get a buzz.

So I was wondering do you know any good drinks to try that taste good and aren't too strong. For a Novice like me.

I don't plan to make it a habit either, so don't worry about that.

If you are in the US, I won't condone underage drinking, but I'll answer your question.

For Males:

Rum & Coke
Long Island Iced Tea
Amaretto & Coke
Screwdriver (OJ & Vodka)
Margarita (ROCKS ONLY)
Jack & Coke - tall (more soda, less Jack taste)
SoCo & Coke - tall
Black Russian (White Russian without the wimpy cream)

For Females:

Midori Sour
Amaretto Sour
Malibu Bay Breeze (Coconut rum with Cranberry & Pineapple juices)
Fuzzy Navel (Peach Schnapps & OJ)
Pina Colada (VERY fattening)
Cosmopolitan
Appletini
Chocotini
Sex on the beach

If you're in the USA, you are too young to drink. When you turn 21 and want to celebrate, try something lower in alcohol content such as some of the schnapps. There are many flavors available and by the time you turn 21, there will be more. Also, you could order a mixed drink and ask for a tall glass because that makes the drink weaker with the volume of mix. But of course if your only goal is to get a buzz, make sure you have a driver first and you could try all kinds of straight shots. Start with the lower alcohol schnapps available in all those yummy flavors.

first pictures I ever had had been tequila. Sure that can sound nasty to alot of persons, mainly ladies, however you get used to it after awhile, and it makes persons suppose you are quite hardcore (that you more often than not might be, at that factor) ;) Be cautious of pictures that include multiple type of liquor. Alot of persons have a wide variety of favourite shooters with fancy names, that include two or three or extra forms of liquor multi functional. Mixing liquors WILL make you VERY SICK and you're going to believe like crap within the morning. If any one needs you to take a look at some thing and also you dont recognize what is in it, simply ask the bartender. Just select one type of liquor and keep it up. Alot of persons love to make beverages out of vodka since it is rather flexible and you'll be able to make many, many distinctive matters with it. Plain ol' pictures of butterscotch schnapps (buttershots) are quite well and style like sweet. It's additionally well if its made right into a cocktail with ice and seven-up. I see the trolls are out this night thumbs downing every body. Knock it off, trolls!

As a first-timer, you don't want anything fruity. Fruity drinks mask the taste of the alcohol too much, and you will end up drinking yourself into a good vomit spell.
Try something with a little bite to it, so that every time you sip, you remember that there's alcohol in it, like an Absolut Rickey.

Ingredients
Club Soda
1-2 oz Absolute Citron Vodka
Lemon wedge - to taste

Instructions
Add ice to a highball glass.
Add the vodka, then the club soda.
Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with a straw.

Hey - you're under-age!

Tropical-type drinks like you can get at a Chinese restaurant go down easy (but don't drink too many!). Things like a Pina Colada, Planter's Punch, Bahama Mama, Mai Tai...

Simple drinks that I've enjoyed over the years are vodka & 7-up, whiskey & gingerale, bourbon & Coke, rum & lemonade...

as a professional, i can safely say go with what you like. ask the bar tender what their specialty is...ive had many a good night on those...

but stick with juice based drinks, they hide the flavour better than a rum and coke or jack and coke or whatever.

a long island ice tea is very fine however, and try an electric lemonade

Wine coolers and other girlie/gay drinks.

Start by eating first and having a full stomach before drinking. You'll ease into it better.
