I just purchased a new computer from tesco's. Im sure a printer is in the same catergory.
I was told on purchase if any problems with computer i had to go through manufacturer as they didnt deal with this.
I know you can return other electrical goods up to a year ect... but they did make a point of emphasising on this.
best thing to do is give them a call & take the name down of whoever you speak to if they say you can treturn.save a wasted trip.
Sometimes though they ask you to contact manufacturer to obtain a verification code so you may return it to store.
another point to consider is...did you know some printer manufacturers place some counter into there printers so they stop working after X amount of use.................the swines!

Tesco are very good with returns. You will either be offered a like for like replacement or you can choose another if you prefer. I had to take a DVD player back after a few months & there was no problem even though I had lost my receipt

I think you should take it back - tesco are a large company and don't want bad publicity so they take back almost anything with a receipt! good luck xx

Take it back to the store, check at customer services or call the local store as they will honour a 12 month guarantee.
Don't let them fob you off by saying you have to deal with the manufacturer as guarantees are contracts between buyers and retailers, not manufacturers.

Electrical goods usually have a 12 month guarantee from the date of purchase. I would say take it back and ask for a replacement.

depends on the warranty the company you bought it from (best buy, circuit city, etc.) and their return policy. if that doesn't work, try the manufacturer's warranty and contact them directly, they should have contact numbers in your owners manual along with warranty info.

You can try. It probably depends on why it doesn't work anymore.
