Still a cappuccino, once you go there...there is no coming back.

A real cappichino is steamed milk poured on top of an exspreso coffee. In the US when they put the froth over regular coffee, the answer would be yes, since the milk is steamed separately from the coffee.

Another style is called cafe-latta which is the milk miked into the coffee then steamed, It is more of a 50/50 mixture and there is no coming back from that.

heavily? What might want to she really - you devour it elegantly with a spoon or you enable it become a milk mustache? I do this on the uncommon celebration that i'm compelled to reserve a cappuccino (really of my universal latte) and nobody has ever batted an eyelid. I see others do all of it the time. it truly is a few distance extra state-of-the-paintings than attempting to scrape it out along with your spoon even as the cup is empty and everyone who only leaves the froth isn't a real espresso lover for my section. obviously there is an paintings to it. do not take massive frothy scoops, only babies. Take some time, like you're drawing out the excitement. it would want to be made to seem sensual in case you quite understand what you're doing. My suggestion is order a latte next time in case you're traumatic. Then no embarrassing moments.

When you order a coffee it comes in many forms
If you want just a shot of coffee from an cafe bar you ask for
an ESPRESSO

If you want milk that is steamed with foam on top you ask for a
CAPPUCCINO
at the time you place your order you tell the barista the one who prepares the drink for you to leave off the foam or just a little, the drink is still the same as long as it contains the steamed milk.

A few years ago I worked at a coffee shop in a bookstore and it was the greatest job in the world. I loved the aromas of the coffee beans being ground...all the syrups that can be added to the specialty drinks....and so much more....

if you got a cappichino and spooned off the milk it would be a gross milky espresso. If you did the same with a latte it would be a gross milky coffee. if you paid for either the cappachino or the latte you should drink it. you already went through the embarrassment of ordering it and the frothy milk costs a fortune...

Still a cappichino

weak milky coffee

I rather just have a straight standard good quality coffee with a glob of real cream to whiten it. This fancy cappichino crap is just snobbery and raking money out of using less coffee in tiny cups.

Well you can't really spoon the foam from a cappuccino, because by nature a capp is a top-to-bottom mix of foam and milk, otherwise it's just a plain old latte... but all that matters is the espresso, eh?

it wouldnt be regular coffe, since most regular coffee is drip. it woud still be esspresso. it may even be a cappicino still. actually, i think that if you froth up the milk it becomes a latte, and when you spoon off the froth it is a cap.

Because cappuccino is a shot of espresso made with steamed milk, it's still cappuccino. Coffee's drip and served black with unsteamed milk if you desire.
