The Bible gives us some insights in various passages, especially in the book of Revelation, but even that, is looking through a glass darkly. The world we live in now is an abberation, completly designed for decay and death. Everything and everyone around us is in some state of deterioration. If you truly understood what Heaven is like, and what it would be like to be there, you would change all your negative lifestyle habits and attitudes. Think of the happiest moment you've ever experienced, think of the best you've ever felt, think of the most incredible beautiful sight you've ever seen, magnify it billions of times, and understand there is no end to this joy, no aging, no pain, no disease, no lonliness, no fear, no doubt, no discomfort, no death, and you only scratch the surface of what it's like in the Paradise of God. Majesty beyond conception, brightness and light of such beauty, it's beyond description.

As the elegant and lovely Belinda Carlisle put it once," heaven is a place on earth." I believe she is right. This means that whatever you do here, you do there. Obviously we are surrounded by such fantastic beauty when we look at forests, and waterfalls, and rainbows. One might say its all quite heavenly. You know, if heaven is a place on earth I would probably do all kinds of wonderful things. For instance, today, while I was in heaven, I made a cup of tea for my father and myself. But an unending, eternal orgasm? This to me sounds like the feeling of an astronaut training to endure g forces in a rotating machine, with floppy, flapping cheeks. Maybe it could be our sadnesses, our pains, and sufferings, which make those pleasing and blessed orgasmic moments all the more spectacular. Congratulations, you made it to heaven. Don't fear the mystery of what comes after life, here in heaven. Rather enjoy this day, and then tomorrow. And then by the end of your life you can look back and say to yourself, I enjoyed my life, and I am not afraid of death, because I enjoyed my life.

Sex was designed by God ( to believers ) for procreation. The church teaches that births are not necessary in heaven because heaven gets its people from earth, Therefore sex is unnecessary.
Same with food. Bodies are everlasting, food is unnecessary.
So there's no sex and no eating. The one thing you can do is pray. Bodies don't degenerate, so you don't have to sleep, pray.
Pray all day and all night long, And what do you pray for ? To find some way out of there.
Once they slam the lid on your box, forget orgasms, good food, booze, and all the things that you dreamed about. Pray.
By the way, you can count me out. I'm returning to nature. I won't have to pray.

let me put it this way.
God took less then 5 days to make the earth (the other days where making creatures, man then resting)
But Jesus 1000's of years latter when he came said that God was STILL making a place for us.
If you think the beauty of this world holds a candle to Hevens beauty think again. It gose beond all imagination and Im sure there will be things to do, We will be in Heven, we can talk to anyone up there about all the things we allways wanted to know and then some and wed worship God all the time, theres a FAT feast up there that never closes im sure and as far as intertanment im sure its in abundence.
we wont have to fight Satan at armeggedon, God will do that on his own, hes more then enough to take care of it himself anyway.
Being in the presence of God is enough.
Question is, are you going to be there?
The worst part of hell isnt the fire and darkness and all, its that you stood in the presence of the God of the universe and he couldnt(not he didnt want to) let you in beacuse you in inperfection would ruin the perfection of Heven so you had to leave his preasence forever never to expereince that moment of pure Joy, Love and Peace and Light radiating from Him.

Maybe God is much more compassionate, forgiving and loving than we give him credit for ? Heaven might be full of Atheists as well as believers. Then we can all sit around and debate God's existence for all eternity ! Just like we do on Y answers.

The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world.
Yup, gonna be bored. All speculation.
I'm not into that sort of thing, but ya got some interesting questions there.
However, your "eternal orgasm" thing? Nope. Don't think so. Bored, bored, bored.

We would have no bodies with which to experience our senses. No stomachs to enjoy food. No wangers to enjoy sex. No brain with the memories of our past life and the people dear to us. Not even a bum to sit on. It can't be argued that these abilities exist in parallel in the silly notion of a "soul" That would make the extremely complex construct of the human body redundant and without necessity. Could you be right? Could the notion of heaven be an absurdity that people who cannot handle their mortality desperately cling to? Yes, dammit of course! Good posting. Keep em coming.

Well it's infinity right? So it's all limitless and no problems, nothing to worry about, no time limits, no age limits and nothing to suffer over. It's all praising God for eternity and doing whatever you feel like and being one with the brotherhood of Christ and being pure love and light.
Hmm.. that sucks!

It's all about Jesus, Son of God who came and died for all people who belive and obey him to be saved. He said he is preparing a place for us.
If you love Jesus you will also enjoy his presence in heaven. It's like being in love with the One who created love. You never want an end.

Deepak Chopra was on Stephen Colbert a week or so ago & said that heaven would be boring. There is no strife. He said hell would be more interesting because if there is no conflict there is no creativity.
