Oh, ha ha.
Tell you what - why don't you find someone active in the ANG and tell them how crappy they are? I'm sure you'll get some "education".
Why do I get the feeling that not only have you never served, but you never will? Call me Psychic!

I'm guessing you're not in the military... if you haven't earned your stripes, then you haven't earned the right to speak as you have. If you have been in the military then it's a shame that you're so willing to trash talk about your all your fellow servicemen in such a way.
I've been afforded the great opportunity to work with guard members in the past and it's always been an honor to work with people as professional as the guard officers I've been in contact with. The guard serves a very different purpose at its core than the active duty, but that mission (defending the territorial integrity of the USA) is just as important as fighting wars and detering agression on foreign soil.
I don't care about your political opinions; I have no use in my life for politics, but your equivocating the ANG with high school JROTC is an affront to ALL military personnel who serve this nation: active, guard, and reserve.
EDIT: Rose, before calling anyone dumb, you might want to research enough about them to know what college they went to AND the fact that they had service in the military... and knowing how to properly spell "military" is probably an important thing before asserting negatives on other peoples' intelligence.

I am in the National Guard. I have deployed 2 times. My last deployment was in Al Anbar provence and based on those units I would not be talking smack about elite units. My unit held the hands of 2 MEUs and a LAR. My 1SG spent 3 tours in Vietnam as a Marine and he was amazed at the incompetence. Now that is not funny, that is sad.

He was with the champaign unit you know the rich peoples unit, the ones whose fathers always bailed them out of trouble, and supported their drinking, and drug habits. Bush had both, and he should be tested today, anyone who does things like him is not rational, and drugs and booze will do this to a person.

He a lieutenant in the Texas Air National Guard.
That trumps your military experience of putting on a dress, going down to the piers and waiting for the sailors to go on liberty in San Diego so you could get a date. lol
