The heavens were created before the fall and without knowledge man never would have had telescopes and without telescopes nobody would have ever seen Pluto. It simply is not visible with the naked eye.

God clearly knew in advance that mankind would taste the fruit and know good and evil, thereby opening up the way to all other knowledge, including astronomy. Good point.

There is no clear answer as to why God did what He did? Maybe for some unknown reason Pluto is helping to keep us alive? I mean there are countless questions out there that will never be answered.

Until we understand astrophysics in its entirety, and until we get to heaven and learn what it actually means to be without sin (just because Adam and Eve didn't have a knowledge of Good and Evil, that doesn't mean they weren't intelligent) we can't fully answer that question.
