go to your closest shop. first off check the cleanliness of the place. if its dirty, go to the next closest shop and repeat. ask to see all the artists pictures of work they have done. if they are rude or do not greet you at all (it happens) leave. go to the next closest shop and repeat. notice what style each artist seems to do really well. if your think your style can be acheived at this shop, stay. if not, go to the next closest shop and repeat.

Well if I understand you correctly...I would not tattoo yourself....go to a studio....tattooing yourself is unsafe and I'm pretty sure that you don't have the equipment to steralize (autoclave) and also, umm....pls note...

myselve - should be myself
meening - meaning
preposition - this is a verb modifier....don't think that's what you meant...do you mean suggestions?

I know I'm going to get a thumbs down from you for this but you need to learn how to spell before you get a tattoo....concentrate on that first..

dont even think of doing it yourself, for starters you cant spell "myself" which makes me think you should shy away from anything with lettering involved like names. Think about what your artwork will mean to you. What kind of things do you like. For my first i picked a branch my favourite flowers. What about something linked to your favourite memory? Find something that is personal to you, or important to you in some way, also discuss it with the artist you plan on going to, they will be able to give you some good ways of putting any ideas you have together.

a dictionary...

go to a shop. don't self-tattoo. it's dangerous. find something that means something to you, i don't know a damn thing about you. if i tell you a skull n crossbones, would you do it? didn't think so. think about your life, and those in it (NOT a boyfriend or husband--NO initials). then think long and hard. do you want that image on you for the rest of your life? yes, get it. no, stay away. make sure you are 18 or older (legal age).

I don't know you so I can't really say. Thats something you'll have to search for. Maybe try something related to your family? Heritage? Interests and passions? Spiritual beliefs?

I think if you want something with meaning than try doing something about your family history or if you have kids than maybe something like a baby portrait.

I would not get a Tattoo if I were you.
I am 45 years young, I have 2 (1 on both arms)
I know that you will regret it in the future,
all of my friends regret ever having one,
+ the bible says that you should not mark your body or pierce it.
just my 2 cents worth, hope it helps you.
