As soon as you drop out, you'll have to start paying back the loan, so you better not use it on a car. Just get a car loan. And some grants may turn into loans if you don't finish school.

People dont understand that student loans are simply PERSONAL LOANS DESIGNED TO TARGET THE SPECIAL INTERESTS AND NEEDS TO INDIVIDUALS GOING TO COLLEGE, that is if you received it from a bank... However the grant money should not be used for a car and STRICTLY for school..

Yes that is wrong....there are sooooo many people out here that need that money for an education. I say either go back to school or return the check. Do what is right.....a new car is not worth the moral heartache.

Good move there. Get loans from school, buy a car and ditch school. That car is SO MUCH better for your future than a college degree is.

i can't wait until i get mine...oh you should see if your school monitors who attends class or not. My college just started requiring instructors to take attendance to see who is signing up for classes to get the money and then not showing up for the class. I think they'd require to you to pay it back, or they'd h=kick you out of the school. So it's your choice.

Personally, I think you should return the check. Right or wrong, it is immoral. But, you are the one who has to live with it.

well, if it's a loan you have to pay it back with really high intrest rates. i would at least do something productive with it!
