A few months ago I slept with a guy who I was totally crazy about. problem is- he has a girlfriend. We slept together a few times and twice he convinced me to have sex with him without a condom(stupid I know). anyway, we stopped seeing each other and in that time I had a fling with my best friend. We had sex but soon after I told him i just wanted to be friends.he was upset but we are still really close. yesterday this friend of mine told me that he went to the doctor and was told he has Chlamydia. he says he must have got it from me as he wasnt with anyone else since. Im def gonna get tested obviously, just as soon as i figure out how to do it without my parents finding out (any ideas?). Anyway, If i DO have it, I obviously got it from the guy i slept with who has a gf. I think its really unfair for the gf as she is a nice person and im sure she doesnt cheat oin him. I wasnt gonna tell the guy but now im thinking doesnt his gf have a right to know that her bf is spreading STI's?

Chances are that if he has it she already has it. I would go and find out if I have before I start opening a can of worms. Your friend may possibly be lying to you because he is upset that you just wanted to be friends. It is also possible that he has had sex with someone else and is lying. You should also stop having unprotected sex before you end up with something that you cannot get rid of. One other thing, if you were so concerned about his girlfriend why did you have sex with this guy in the first place. Where are your morals? Don't you think that was unfair to her as well. Goodness, what goes around comes around. You should think about that.

Yes get tested, depending on where you live, by law the Health Dept. may contact him for you. Think all this through, a friend of your best friend said your best friend, whom you slept with, has chlamydia and says you gave it to him, after you told him you would rather be friends. What if he actually gave it to you? Then you would be the one looking like a horses *** by confronting the first guy. Also, it is too late to worry about his girlfriend, obviously you didn't while you were rolling in the sack with her boyfriend.

Firstly your a dirty skank for even sleeping with someone elses boyfriend - even when you think his girlfriend is a nice person.. try to keep you legs closed next time. Its definately not your place to even tell the girlfriend about it! How would you feel if you were her and some dirty whore came up telling about how she caught a disease off her boyfriend? Yeah bad idea!

Your stupid for even sleeping with him let alone without protection. Just tell your parents your making an appointment to get a new script for your contraceptive pill (which I hope you smart enought to already be on!).

This kind of STI is no big deal anyway.. your lucky you didnt get a worse one. Its really common and usually doesnt show any symptoms but if left without treatment from antibiotics can make you infertile.

Go to your doctor or a clinic and get yourself tested. When the results come in, the doctor will only tell you (unless you're under 16 or something around that age) so you're parents won't know. You should tell the guy you slept with and the girlfriend before they spread it to anyone else.

tell the guy about it then so he won't spread it to his gf or any other people he cheats on her with. That's a serious STD and how could you live with yourself if something happened to someone because you didn't tell! What happens when the innocent gf finds out the bf is a cheating b*stard and dumps him and finds the guy she loves and decides she wants to marry him and have children, but can't because the other guy give her and std that she went around with for so long with that she became unfertile. Not to mention all the other consequences it could have. I'd def. tell.

You don't have to tell your parents anything . Just go to the doctor and get tested . Say it's for a yeast infection or something else thats not that bad . It's nobody's business what you may have including your parents . Then get the treatment you need to get it cleared up and never have sex without a condom again !Forget it learn from it and MOVE ON !

I was eating a cheesy burrito when I read that. Maybe that wasn't a good idea.

Go visit your doctor, get a confirmation on the issue at hand, if it's positive, tell him and then get on with life.

You should speak to him about it and tell him to get tested because if he's cheating on his girlfriend then he could possibly give it to her then she would find out he's been cheating on her. Go get tested and speak to your parents about it, they have the right now in case anything should happen that is life-threatening to you. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Just take care of yourself for now. Try the Dept of Health in your area, you may have to bite the bullet and tell the folks though!

I would definitely let her know just because chlamydia can be so damaging to women. May be you can do it anonymously so she doesn't have to know it's you. That way you don't get mixed up in their drama.
