There are over the counter home drug tests you can buy and administer. You can also look at your child's behavior and his friends, school work, the way they act. Any parent who pay attention to their child can and will notice a difference in that child when something is not right. Ask questions. As long as that child is under your roof and you are paying their way you have a right to search their rooms and ask questions. Be the grown up and take charge of the situation before the situation takes charge of you. Take care.

You Can go to Your Local Walgreens And Get A Home Drug Test. They Are Located by The Pharmacy.

I think there is a urine testing kit available from pharmacies now!
My husband's uncle tests his son (who was smoking cannabis) and has withdrawn all funding! If the son wants anything, Daddy may or may not buy it for him. Son too lazy to get a job, so has no income of his own.
Funding was withdrawn to the extent of everyone being asked not to send money for his 18th which was a few days ago!
Has had clear urine samples for about 3 weeks now I think!
There are also plenty of agencies to take child to for testing.

If your from the uk you can by home test kits from most chemists which contain two test strips to test for drugs in the system.
Its amazing what you can buy over the counter!

or, the "it's best to be open and honest with me and I'd rather you do it in the house than anywhere else" test.
Then as soon as you find out, drag them to one of those drug rehab places and let them hear how cannabis leads to addiction to harder drugs -

Yes there are tests available...call the child's doctor and ask them where you can purchase these tests.

you can get their urine and have it tested at a lab.
you can search their room for pipes and drugs.
you can visit them at places where they are.
smells are a good hint. behavior is a good hint.
hard to "accuse" without proof. start talking to them
about drugs and start communicating openly.
