That way you really feel the lips of the person you are kissing with! And there are only the 2 of you in the world when you are kissing! When someone is so close to you, your eyes will ache if you look at each other for long.
Also there's a saying "Never trust anyone who kisses with eyes open." That person might not be totally into you.
Aaaahh.. I want to KISSSS !!

There are a number of reasons why we close our eyes when we kiss. For one thing, the image we would have of our partner would certainly be less than stunning from that angle, so close, where the nose and eyes would just seem to dwarf everything else. Kinda creepy when you get right down to thinking about it. Those scientific reasons are explained here:

Also, it's just like when someone loses one of their senses - Your other senses become heightened when you close your eyes, similar to the way they would if you were blind (of course, not quite so much, since this is only temporary). Closing your eyes when you kiss gives you a chance to really feel the sensation against your lips and taste your partner. What a thrill!

Because people up close look really scary! Its more romantic and fun to close your eyes. That way you block everything out and just concentrate on the person youre kissing.

I guess it's like feeling the moment, like daydreaming. You know, when you close your eyes and think of something pleasant, or naughty, whatever pops in your head. Kissing with your eyes closed is like indulging in the other's thoughts.
