The sycamore tree has seeds like little balls. You are thinking of the maple tree.
Yes, it had a lot of time to think about it and come up with the idea of evolution. It threw off the shackles of religion and used science to develop the aerodynamic functions for its seeds.
It has also developed neutron-based weapons, so I would not advise starting any campfires.

Pine tree seeds are like that too, although the "wing" is flimsier.
No learning involved. Just a little bit of natural selection.

evolution? That's funny as there is not another tree like it period. The maker of all things is God and man learns all things from nature and items he finds in the earth and then he writes about them and what he can't describe or define he calls it evolution. Some men have eyes to see but are blind to the truth and its best that way.
