Most types of contraceptive pill are claimed to be between 99-99.9% effeective, so there is always a chance that you could become pregnant, and yes even if your boyfriend withdraws before he ejaculates. This is due to the fact that a small amount of fluid typically 'escapes' prior to this and this may contain sperm. If you are in the 0.1-1% of pill failures then these 'sneaky' sperm could get you pregnant.

Admittedly the risk of pregnancy under these conditions is very slim, but it is present and you should also consider the far more real danger of sexually transmitted diseases which the pill does not protect you from and which can be passed on by intimate sexual contact and unprotected intercourse.

If your boyfriend is allergic to latex, Durex make a latex free condom that could provide a solution to your worries.

As has been pointed out, certain medications and illnesses, such as some antibiotics and diahorrea and vomitting can temporarily reduce the effectiveness of your pill, so if you and your boyfriend are satisfied that you are in a commited, exclusive relationship and both have a clean bill of sexual health (visit any local GUM clinic if you need to get a check up, they are in the phone book) and decide to rely on the pill as your sole contraception, you need to bear this in mind. If you do go for this choice there is little point in choosing to withdraw before orgasm unless you prefer to of course!

Have a talk, get some checks, choose and enjoy!

There is always a small chance you could fall pregnant and that goes for any sex - including that with Condoms.

Provided you carry on taking your pill properly you should be OK - just bear in mind there is no guarantee.

A chance yes but it's ever so slight of a chance it's not worth worrying about. There isn't that much of a chance if he goes all the way in you but there's always a chance how ever sligh it is.

ANTIBIOTICS CAN CHANGE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE BIRTH CONTROL PILL. AND MAYBE SOME OTHER MEDS, TOO.

AS ALWAYS, YOU SHOULD DISCUSS ANY NEW PRESCRIPTION WITH YOUR PHARMACIST REGARDING DRUG INTERACTIONS!!!
