The sky caddie has many courses allready in their system.
If your course is not a part of it you simply can add it to the system by marking off your course yourself.

It does not work for every course but they are adding more and more courses every year. However, you have to pay a yearly fee depending on how many courses you want. Ranges from 20 to 60 dollars and allows you to have various courses.
Example:
$20= 5 courses in your state
$30= All courses in your state
$40= Every course in your country
$60= Every course in the world.
I think this is the break down, I would go on the site and check it out.

No it doesn't. The Sky Golf website has the names of all the courses they have in their system. They are always adding many new courses though.

No. Thay have a list on their website of what golf courses work. I think there is a way that you can ask them to get your course professionaly charted or you can chart it yourself. I have no idea how this works but there is a button on the skycaddie that has something to do with it. If you don't care about the hefty price tag, it would be a good investment.

The answer is YES.
The Sky Caddie works everywhere you have an open sky.
It makes use of the GPS satellites.
If Sky Caddie does not have a specific course, you can ask them to map it and they will, or you can use Sky Caddie to manually map your own course.

Pinseekers suck. I have one. If you cant see the pin you cant get a yardage.

Not sure, but for the money, you would be better off getting a Bushnell 1500 Pinseeker Tournament Edition.

You have to check the software that comes with it but there are thousands of courses in the U.S. that have downloads available for their courses.
