okay If you read a little further you would have your answer. Matthew11:34-36 Don't imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth. No I came to bring a sword. I have come to set a man against is father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

Keep reading your Bible, it tells you the answer to your question. Jesus came to save us from eternal hell. His blood is the blood sacrifice God requires for redemption from sin. In the old testament, they had to sacrifice animals, Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day for that reason. When Jesus was seen after the Resurrection he told the disciples to handle him and see that he had flesh and bone as they did. He no longer had blood because he sprinkled it on the alter in heaven for all who would believe.

To die so that we can be saved and have eternal salvation. Jesus knew the plan was never to change people on the earth. Sin will be here until the end of the world.
It is a heavenly plan, not an earthly one.

Jesus is asserted to have suggested many stuff, and it particularly is totally difficult (almost impossible) to handle what ought to have been genuine and what became edited back in later by using the Pauline church. maximum probable situation is that the genuine "historic" Jesus observed himself as a religio-armed forces Messiah, precisely the kind the Jews have been searching for, who theory he became God's tool to throw off the yoke of Rome, and all the "I and the father are one" corporation became tacked on later to strengthen the divine-sacrifice theology that grew up around his legend.

He came to bring trouble and animosity amongst people. I think the reason for this is because if we follow Him we need to stand firm with our convictions and sometimes that is going to upset others.

Make trouble
Mat 10:34 Don't think that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came to bring trouble, not peace.
Mat 10:35 I came to turn sons against their fathers, daughters against their mothers, and daughters-in-law against their mothers-in-law.
That'll be 10 points please.
