Well you can tell your wife to ease up as sun does not cause AIDS. It can cause sunburn that later in life can cause skin cancer. Maybe you and your wife should read more about the causes of Aids and HIV. SPF 50 is just fine for kids at the beach.
Do a google search what is Aids and read it. Get the facts from the places that know. Get connected to the real life.

ummmm wselll frist of all i hate to say this u can not and imean can not get aids or hiv from sun exsposure or sun burn , w2hat u can get is skin cancer . ok baack to the hiv/aids u can only get the hiv virus fro tainted blood (blood transfusions ) having un protected sex with someone with the virus , or exchange boodly fluid with someone who has it , ( if u have an open wound and the other person has an open wound it can spread that way . how do u protect your child from getting it well u cant protect them from getting it but u can educate them on how to reduce the risk of getting it , if there sexually active withsome , well wear protection and use protection as well it goes both ways guys and gals need to protect themselfs not just one . if there going in for an operation donate your own blood to have there for the day of surgery, if there old enough they can even donate there own for that day if needed if not they will use it on someone else , the best way to prevent form getting aids /hiv is to remain or refrain from having any type of sexual contact that even means oral sex . education and awarness is the key to prevent the spread of aids/hiv
sunscreen is used to protect the skin from the sun which can lead to skin cancer latter in life , the higher the spf factor the better but u have to apply it often and heavy , not just put it on in the am and think u r protected all day your not , u need to apply more often if your swiming , sweating etc , so i would say every half hour to an hour , another thing u need to put it on atleast 30 minutes before sun exposure so it will have time to asorb into the skin
i hope this answers your question on hiv and skin cancer

Where in the world did your wife get that information? You 2 should go to the library together and do a little research. AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease not a sun related disease. You can only contract AIDS from sex with an infected person, sharing needles with an infected person and connecting blood with an infected person. Tell your wife to stop passing on bad information and get informed.

Uh, sun exposure does NOT cause AIDS, contact with an infected person (intercourse, sharing needles, blood transfusion, that sort of thing) causes AIDS. Sun exposure can cause skin cancer, so keep up with the sunscreen, but your wife needs to get a clue.

sun expose does not cause AIDS, it may cause skin cancer later when they grow up if they a bad sunburn, the only way to get AIDS is if you get HIV, which can be an STD or a mixture of body fluids

Both you and your wife need to learn about HIV and AIDS and how you can get it. I think that you are asking a question as a joke.

WHAT?? Sun exposure DOES NOT cause AIDS!!!!
ONLY exposure to infected bodily fluids (blood, semen, etc) can cause HIV.
www.cdc.gov
Too much sun exposure can cause skin cancer, so SPF 45 is good, and staying out of the bright sun in the middle of the day is good.

First, your name is disgusting.
Second, this question is absurd. You want to protect your kids from AIDS? Teach them abstinence.
