my ex actually tried using anything and everything he ever gave me as a threat hanging over my head every time he'd get mad....he'd say "I'm comin to pick up all my stuff, have it ready for me" !! So the first time I sure did, but guess what? never showed....then it was, "oh I feel sorry for you so just keep it all" Ok, I said, sure..whatever..... next it was " If you don't want it, throw it in the garbage..."
My point is, give it back, if they refuse then they missed their chance, it's not a manipulative game you're gonna want to play, trust me....and if you don't want it toss it, or sure, pawn it off , but DO NOT save it and give it to someone else....that's tragic

No I still have all of it. A part of me wants to pawn it but other part says keep it....I do not know why I keep it b/c every time I look at it I get sad. I say do whatever you feel is right. If you need money sell it!! Do not re -gift it!

I never give back anything once they put it in my hands it becomes mine i once pawned a bracelet n a ring though

I gave everthing back to him. He got me a leathe jacket, white gold ring, and ear rings, movies, CDs... everything I gave back to him... He was a major a.s.s... even all the pics I had of us together I gave back to him...
He was a cheater, and he got cought, stupid jerk face... on all the pics I wrote "Look what you lost, you can thank you smaller head for thinking.."
3 weeks later I found out he had killed himself and left me a note about how much he loved me... yeah, I felt like an a.s.s but I don't think it's all me...

just chuckd everything into the dump didnt wanna keep hold of it for sentimental value and didnt want other people to have it because i wouldnt want to feel like hed helped me out financially or in anyway after the break up.. its not pride its getting rid of rubbish that is gonna make you think of him! and doing it for real because selling it takes your mind off of it and also think-- am i giving it a chance to start up again with him before i can sell it!

No, but she didn't really ever get me anything. Giving stuff back is stupid. Only immature people do that so they can have contact with their ex one last time. It makes you look desperate.

When someone gives you something it is a "gift" Keep it if you like, if not give it back or throw it away. It is really up to you..
