I have 2 choices, but I still feel like Im at a dead end. I was dating this guy and we decided to slow it down. He says hes not ready for the intensity we had previously. we were apart for 3 weeks cuz of winter break. we're at the same university. since we decided to slow it down hes been hostile towards me. and he hasnt explained his behavior sufficently enough.
ive taken 2 days off from him and he came to my room looking for me. i did the same thing last week and he called me non-stop. he makes it seem like he misses me, but when we are together he acts different. its hard to be around him and fight the luvy duvyness i want to show him. its also hard to stay away when it seems for at least a fleeting moment he cares.
He just cant commit. To me or anyone else. Somehow I still think there is hope. Can someone give me the harsh reality of this situation? I can either stay or go.

This just depends how much you love the guy. If you love him, give him a chance to prove that he loves you back. Tell him that his recent coldness is bothering you. If he still seems unresponsive, kick him to the curb and find someone who will value you!

Confront the guy about it (not in a hostile way). Sit down and have a conversation about it. It seems to me he's emotionally immature, but there could be a whole lot of stuff going on that I'm not going to get out of what little you have said. If he can't quit acting like a 5-year old, then move on. If he's ready to be an adult, then ask him to do so (assuming you both ARE, in fact, adults).

as hard as this is going to sound, i think it would be best to leave him. if he isn't a genuine person then he doesn't deserve you. it's your choice but i've stayed with someone that didn't treat me well and it didn't last.
it's easier to let go and move on than it is to think about it all day.
