PHYSICAL ACTIVITY!!!!

If you wanna be less sensitive, you gotta get some energy out of your system as well as relieve yourself of some internal stress. Doesn't matter if you go out for a jog, swim some laps, go horseback riding, or play baseball or frisbee. Just get outside and do something.

Another thing is talk out what's bothering you with your friends. They should give you some easy defenses against what bothers you so when it happens in real life, you can counter according to what they said.

Oh and one more thing....

don't be afraid to be yourself! Nobody can get everyone to like him or herself, so if you offend somebody, big whoop! Fact is you're a nice guy so all u gotta do is stick up for yourself and show some pride.

Peace bro.

Try to look at the situtuion differently. Try to think of a something different at the time that makes you feel emotional, then once you have sometime to actually think things over go ahead and get emotional, and think think overs. The best is just trying to look at things in a different way then you normally do.

Before you decide to change, think about this. While you might get overly emotional at negative things, you most likely get overly emotional about POSITIVE things as well. You probably experience more joy and happiness than most people every do. While it can suck greatly to have overly emotional responses to negative things, sometimes it's worth it for all the extra joy you'll experience in your life.

You really can't change yourself it's who you are you could probably learn how to control it but getting emotional is perfectly normal and I am the same way so I totally understand.

i have the same problem. regular aerobic exercise will balance out your brain's chemicals. also what you eat helps. if you are eating things high in vitamins and antioxidants, especially B vitamins, it will help you think clearer. Also the willingness to be "tougher"---mentally, it will help.

I don't know if you can. I know I am the same way and I believe that is just my personality.
