No where! it's just a made up story to bash Islam.
if somone commits suicide he'll burn in hell forever. if you die while 'defending' your country, that's another thing.
do not] kill yourselves, for truly Allah has been to you Most Merciful. If any do that in rancour and injustice, soon shall We cast him into the Fire..." (Qur'an 4:29-30).
chastisement" (2:178). No matter what wrong we perceive as being done against us, we may not lash out against an entire population of people.
Harming innocent bystanders, even in times of war, was forbidden by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This includes women, children, noncombatant bystanders, and even trees and crops. Nothing is to be harmed unless the person or thing is actively engaged in an assault against Muslims.

You are correct. There is no where in the Qu'ran does it say Muslims get 70 virgins. It says that a pious Muslim will get their perfect spouse/counterpart. It refers to a "hur" which is a pure being that can be male OR female and is not always sexual. We get the translation from the Arabic word "hur" to the English word "virgin" b/c it's the closest translation, but should not be taken literally to mean virgin as we know it to mean. It drives me crazy when people think that! And I'm not even a Muslim!!!

This hadith source that bin Laden cites puts together different Quranic passages describing Islamic heaven, complete with beautiful virgins (Suras 44:51-56; 52:17-29; 55:46-78), with those describing the immediate reward of heaven for jihadist martyrs (Suras 61:10-12; 4:74; 9:111). (For multiple translations of these "virgin verses" and other sensuous descriptions of Islamic heaven, go to this site, and type in the references: 44:51-56; 52:17-29; 55:46-78.)

there is mention of hoors in heaven in the Quran but there is no specific number given and it does not refer only to females but males also. zakir naik is a well-known muslim scholar and he addressed this issue in one his speaches. other scholars have also pointed out that the hoors are not female but of both genders for both men and women in heaven. i wanted to point this out who believe heaven in islam is only made for men... i think the virgin belief came from a hadith.

It doesn't specify suicide. It refers to all those who die in a holy way with the name of Allah on their lips.
Try again.
