My friend's 13 year old daughter always has really hot feet, they are red all the time because they are so hot and she has always had these hot feet. What does this signify? We know cold feet leans towards bad circulation but don't know about hot ones.

No she's not overweight, quite the opposite, very slight and quite short for her age (very pretty actually). The condition doesn't seem to bother her.

Reynaud's phenomenon causes red skin in the extremities AFTER blood supply returns to "normal." I don't know, I'd have to examine her feet during temperature changes......Have her ask a doctor though. Even if it doesn't bother her, it should be checked out.

IT sounds like this should have been picked up long ago,
there are a number of reasons, overweight, other health problems, get her to a specialist asap.
