Deport them where? They're natural born citizens.
Are you implying that we should kick criminals out of our country, so they may commit crimes in other countries, instead of being dealt with by our criminal system? Good luck passing that one by the international community!

Fair or not, you cannot deport an American citizen. I know there was a big issue concerning an American who lives in Canada, and he would commute to work every day, because he worked in the US and lived with his wife and kids in Canada (Niagara Falls area). He worked in the schoold system and was arrested for having sex with a minor (consensual), but either way a minor. Well, some dumb @ss judge issued his punishment, to be exiled from the US and live in Canada with his wife and kids, and cannot return to the US for three years, except to see his probation/parole officer. Is that justice, hell no, but I just though I would share this story with everyone. By the way Canada was pissed and held this person for deprtation back to the US, so I still don't know what else is happening with this case.

What has fairness got to do with this? Not fair to who...the illegal or the American? You are kidding, right?
Illegals get deported because they are not from here. Americans who commit a crime are our problem.

What should we do with people who are legal citizens when they commit a crime? Where should we send them? Or is the death penalty the best idea? It does not keep people out of the US just because they are deported. They can easily come across the border again.

no, it isnt fair.
If an american commits a crime (or if the corrupt government just feels like it) in some backwards nation like mexico or honduras, they lock them away with no legal representation, torture them and steal any money they have. Thats true for americans that are just visiting. If an american went in "undocumented" they would probably never see the light of day again.
I think giving illegals free food, healthcare, and a bus ticket home (all on my tax dollar) is quite unfair.

If you are a legal citizen (regardless of nationality), you don't get deported, you go to prison. Personally, if I was to commit a terrible crime, I would rather be deported somewhere than go to prison.

And where would you deport Americans TO???? Duhh....When a non-citizen commits a crime they're sent back (deported) to their native country; Americans are committing crimes in their native country. No place to send them but to JAIL.

They get deported because they've committed a crime and the US government shouldn't have to foot the bill. As for Americans, hey that's also one of the reasons we pay taxes, so we can have jails and prisons for them.

Get deported to where? Back to America. If you are here Illegaly or are not a US Citizen and you commit a crime then you go back to where you came from. If you are a US Citizen you go to jail. What's not fair.
