They're rather pricey ($1200 for a queen mattress). Are they worth the investment? Seems like a lot of money for a mattress, but then again... not getting a good night's sleep is pretty bad, too.

I slept on a waterbed for over 30 years.. we switched to a Tempur-Pedic... tried it for one whole year.. It was the worst bed ever... We both complained very quietly, because we had made such a large investment on such a terrible bed... Out of desperation for a good nights sleep, we made another investment,, this time we tried the Select Comfort bed.. It is fantastic! I set my side to fit my taste and he sets his side to suit his comfort demand.. And the adjustable firmness option eliminates all those nasty back aches, shoulder aches... no more waking up with an arm going numb...
I would still prefer to go back to a waterbed, but Select Comfort is still great.. We can even travel and stay at certain hotels that have the Select Comfort beds.. that's a big plus!
but what it comes down to ---- is a good nights sleep worth the investment?... yes!

I don't know about the mattress, but i have a Tempur pedic pillow which I HATE as it gets so hot and sweaty. Also they aren't supposed to flatten out, and mine definitely has. It cost a fortune too. So although the mattress is probably comfortable, i would be wary of investing quite so much. You can buy pretty good mattresses from other manufacturers.

The OriginalBed is the 1st mass produced mattress that Tempur-pedic made. that's actually a block of froth. it is going to sleep lots greater heat than the ClassicBed and for my section isn't properly well worth the money. Tempur-Pedic did no longer patent the memory foam, yet particularly the form of their mattresses. The ClassicBed has an air circulate equipment in it (the layers of froth are designed to permit air circulate between them and allow the mattress breathe) which facilitates you to sleep cooler on that mattress than you will on the OriginalBed. i think of it additionally sleeps lots greater helpful. as much as now as buying the mattress is going, that varies from guy or woman to guy or woman. It in simple terms relies upon on your guy or woman situation. The interest fee does bounce after the year of interest loose money, yet you additionally can seem for various financing thoughts with different agencies that sell the product. You get the ninety night convenience trial with any Tempur-Pedic mattress you purchase from a qualified broking. additionally, the return fee in case you come to a decision to record a convenience return isn't $4 hundred, that's $249. And as far simply by fact the pillows circulate, ask your broking to throw them in for loose. Tempur-Pedic makes use of mapped pricing. So, your authorized Tempur-Pedic broking ought to no longer be waiting to circulate decrease than those fees. What they are able to do although, is provide you loose pillows or loose transport (perhaps the two) with a view to close the deal. as much as now because it being "properly worth it", i've got confidence that they are. The inherent traits of memory foam make the mattress greater waiting to regulate to and help your physique than the different mattresses on the marketplace. in addition they are going to final you longer (approx 18-23 years on regularly occurring) than innerspring or latex mattresses. interior the tip however, that's a private determination. some human beings like memory foam, some human beings choose innnerspring and a few human beings like latex.

Find a Brookstone store near you. They have them to try out. Brookstone is usually in the larger malls. I laid on one and did not want to get up. If I could spare the flow I would definitely invest.

I thought they were not worth it until my husband got one for our bed. Now I sleep much better, and my neck does not hurt. If you are prone to neck/back ache, they are a good investment.
