Romance is in the heart not in the location or activity. Words, attitudes and actions make up romance. You can find it anywhere you want to without spending a dime!

I dont know whether I would enjoy rather go to movies or shoot pool or bowling but nice restaurant is always good stuff. Overall anything romantic is more intimate situation, where you both can be alone and not in bed if you know what i mean. It can be at your or his place too but then its gotto be home cooked dinner with candles and wine, blah blah blah....thats for those who is in to that stuff. I like to have more fun. Go to D&B, barcode, pool hall, darts place, movies or bowling. Hey if he is good like that then go somewhere on a boat or some more expensive recreation, it all depends on how much impression he want to leave on me and how well surrounded he is. You asked if you think that first place he take you to need to be noce.....you daymn right it better be nice. We aint going to no mcdonalds.... or park to look at the stars.

I personally wouldn't go to the movies with my husband because we barely get out either.. We have a 15 month old!! I would want to go somewhere you could talk.. Maybe a nice restaurant, or a walk outside.

usually couples tend to get stuck in a rut. they do the dinner/movie thing when they go out on a "date". I think its really romatic when a man goes out of his way to find new and exciting/different things to do. I gets us both out of our element and we tend to act differently. try a comedy show or a night at a really nice hotel where you can have a private dinner and listen to a jazz band.

what makes a date romantic is being in a quiet place where you can concentrate on the two of you. and the feelings for eachother makes it romantic as well as spontienity.

I'd want him to come to the front door and ring the bell with flowers in his hands, like it was our third date.. Take me out somewhere with candle light and red wine. Kiss me at every red light on the way home
then bring me inside put on some Marvin Gaye and dance with me.

well, many things are romantic. I like sitting next to fire or candles, or going to a speial (secret) place, maybe with a nive view. On the other hand, any "shoulds" are not romantic. i think that it needs to come spontaniously.
Hope my answer helps to solve your dilema.

I WOULD NOT GO TO THE MOVIES BECUASE YOU DON'T COMMUNICATE. I WOULD WOULD RATHER DO DOMETHING FUN LIKE QUAD BIKE RDES, PAINT BALL OR MAYBE A CANDLE LIGHT DINNER. OR MAYBE LATE AT NIGHT GO FOR A COFFEE AT SEATTLE COFFEE AND JUST TALK TALK TALK. WALK AROUND JUST OUTSIDE THE MALL AND TALK BUT AT NIGHT. OR MAYBE GO SOMEWHARE FOR THE DAY LIKE A THEME PARK.
