She asked me to a dance lesson, but then she said I should come to keep her brother company. She told her friends that her brother asked me to come. Then, she suggested dancing with everyone except me until I said I wanted to dance with her. She fought me until I was set on her. I have been trying to show her that I like her, but she keeps fighting me. She only accepted to dance with me after I pushed a bit, but afterward, she suggested we be partners and go every other week because it happens all the time! Why is she acting like this?

Sounds like her brother has a thing for you. Maybe you should just come right out and ask the girl if she likes you or not. This will save you time and grief. Thank you.

2 ideas came to mind:
1. She used you because she knew you and she needed someone to go with her to these dance lessons. She didnt know what to expect, so she needed someone else who didn't know.
2. It seems that she is playing "hard to get" but in a stupid way. I would leave her alone because she is getting what she wants, and that would be you liking her. O it's gossip to her friends, "I asked my friend so-so to go with me to these dance lessons, now he likes me."
Try to avoid dancing with her for the whole night. Also, have a conversation with someone that u are dancing with and make it seem like you are have a good time. For get about chica and make it be known that you had a good time dancing with the other chic.
I just dont see the "I want to get to know you"

i think she wants more but is not sure if you want the same. Maybe i'm wrong. Ask her.
Do you have a girlfriend? does she have a boyfriend?
If yes to any of those questions maybe that's the problem.

girls are very weird and they would rather make it seem as if they didn't like you when they actually do in case u don't like them back... not all girls are this way, but it's very possible that's what's going on... tell her how you feel and see where it goes from there. good luck!!

Either she is playing hard to get, or she is playing with your emotions period. Be upfront and ask her what he deal is? Don't play her game. good luck
