i've noticed that people write that the bible is a fairy Tale story but they never mention what part of the Scripture, or what Passage they think is confusing.

I believe people don't agree with it, because they want to keep living in sin.

Well nobody will have an excuse in the judgement day, "God will tell them It was written in my word and You did not believe it" you know the Rest...

You yourself have given evidence to the falsehood of that book.
You keep telling everyone how the "last days are written" that what and how and when all this doom and gloom are going to happen. Yet later you talk about what people "want" and little issues like free will. Allow me to explain the nature of reality to you.
It is Impossible for a person to have "free will", to act as he wishes when his actions are already known and "recorded". If the "record" is true, it is impossible for someone to act in a manner that is against the record(no free will). They are born, they either "serve god" or they don't, they are going to heaven or hell. it's all on record from before they are even a thought. They had no choice in the matter.
If they actually had a choice, not only their final destination, but the "fate of the world" would ultimately be unknown because the actions which lead to that point have not happened.
Either free will is a lie, or, the events are actually unknown(another lie). The two ideas are a contradiction, they cannot exist together.
Only a fool believes a lie when they know it to be a lie.

Well so many parts simply do not make sense - - like we know the Earth was created over millions of years - that has been prooven with science - however the Bible says differently.

And if Adam and Eve were the only two people to populate the Earth why do we have so many vastly different races of people?

What about the dinosaurs? They are never mentioned the first mentioning of animals are modern animals like cows and birds and stuff.

Also, why is it that God burned bushes and performed miracles and caused floods and spoke directly (audibly) to people during the period the bible was written and then has been silent for thousands of years.

I have said before I do believe in God I just don't think we have it all figured out yet. I don't believe the bible is exactly the word of God. It was inspired by God but written by man and then translated into numerous languages - I believe in all of that the wording has been altered.

I believe there are many inspiring stores in the bible.

Well in my opinion you are too young. If you are really determined to convert, then what if you convert when your older? I don't know if your mom will accept that because she's a Christian right? I mean thats the logical response. Thats all I'm gonna tell you because I can't really answer that question. And I guess the answer is the ever so mysterious saying "It's all up to you". Though it sounds so common that its ridicilous, it is ironicly the answer. If you really want to do it then go for it. Go where your heart really tells you. You are the driver seat of your life. I experience a situation like this before but my loyalty for Christianity got the best of me so I learned to ignore the 'temptations'.

The reason I believe that it is a huge FAIRY TALE is because first off the entire book was made 2000 years ago when people were as dumb as hair, second because it contradicts itself all the time, just by reading it (which I was forced to do and will never do again) you will find these contradictions in almost every tale. And third because no one at all has ever really been able to decode the writing, instead people "interpret" the meaning and make an"educated" guess at what it actually says.BTW the bible also states that slavery is ok and to degrade women is also ok..now there are some good points that Jesus made (if in fact he was real) about peace and loving your fellow man,not judging and causing torment and killing people in his name.Oh yah it was Written BY MAN not GOD..

Living in sin? Ha.

OK, here are some of the reasons why I think the Bible is a big fairy story:
1. The whole creation story
2. The whole flood story
3. The children being attacked by bears for mocking a prophet.
4. The Jonah and the whale story.
5. The guys in the furnace--Shadrach, Meshach and Abendigo, right?
6. The whole Moses thing.
7. Lot's wife being turned into a pillar of salt
8. virgin birth
9. son of God coming to earth to be treated like crap.
10. That a "kind, loving" God would do all of the horrible things God is responsible for in the Bible

Sounds kind of like Aesop, or Grimm, doesn't it?

Adam and Eve was a fairy tale. Unless God was all about incest back then... And if you wanna ignore the neanderthal skeletons we keep finding, and if you wanna ignore the part where dinosaurs were alive on this earth. But hey. Im sure you have an answer for everything. Hit a honkey up. I will be more than glad to make fun and ridicule you.

If you want a fairy tale, read Genesis chapters 1 and 2.

If you take them literally, you ARE an idiot. I don't care if you're offended or not. If you can read those fabrications and tell me that those events ACTUALLY happened, then you are an idiot.

There are plenty more fairy tales in the Bible. Any story will do. A lot of them are in the Old Testament.

People don't agree with it not because "they want to live in sin" (Polly want a cracker?). People don't agree with the Bible because it's a ridiculous, outdated old book. The writers have all-too-conveniently inserted a catch-all "prophesy" for the inevitable skeptics, demonizing those who would dare criticize their dogma.

Talking snakes and donkeys, worldwide flood, cities burned from the sky, people living over 900 years when the average life span (proven by actual scientific evidence) was around 30 years, food from the sky, toads falling from heaven, rivers turning into blood, virgin birth, people rising from the dead AND the fact that many of these stories and scenarios have been found in writings BEFORE they were written in the bible (once again, actual scientific evidence to prove this)., Earth only 6000 years old when we have galaxies that are so far away it takes light billions of years to travel here (once again, lots of scientific evidence to prove this - actual facts and figures).

It's not that we choose to disbelieve because we live in sin, it's the fact that you choose to believe such things with no tangible proof of any of it for the sole purpose of getting a BIG reward.

And that's somewhat pathetic

I could fill this forum with errors, inconsistencies and pure absurdities contained in the bible. As a matter of fact, I do, don't I? But anyway, what you are telling me is that the garden of Eden is a real, factual place here on earth still guarded by Uriel and his flaming sword? And that the flood story is also true and not just a fable? And the creation story as well? 6 actual days? Does any of that really make sense to you, honestly? Does it really match up with the real world?

The link is to a question that contains contradictions. Some of them are due to the odd way the scripture was written, some to mistranslation, and some can not be blamed on anyone else but the writers.

I wouldn't go as far to call it a fairy tale. Most of it I do truly believe. We can not say, however, that it is not flawed in any shape or form.
