They have a nutrition fact book at all jamba juice locations. Be warned that a SMALL 'jamba juice' is the equivalent of a whole meal.

I never found them to be a "healthy treat", but in moderation now and again there is nothing wrong with them.

Jamba Juice Weight Loss

It depends. As I'm sure you know, weight is put on when you consume more calories than you burn off with activity. In terms of gaining weight, 200 calories consumed, is 200 calories consumed, whether it's 200 calories of Jamba Juice or a 200 calorie candy bar. You can have a Jamba Juice, but you have to pay attention to the calories of your selection and make sure that you compensate by either trading the Jamba Juice calories for some other snack or treat you might allow yourself, or by doing some extra excercise to compensate for the extra calories.

Jamba Juice posts the nutritional information about their products on their website, and most Jamba Juice outlets have a poster or a notebook with the nutrition information displayed in the store. This will help you know how many extra calories you are taking in with the Jamba Juice. As at any fast food/convenience food outlet, there are good choices and bad choices at Jamba Juice if you are trying to eat healthily.

For example, if you get a small (16 oz) Strawberry Nirvana Light Smoothie, it's only got about 150 calories, no fat, has 3 grams of fiber, and 60 per cent of your day's recommended Vitamin C. Thus, this is a reasonably healthy snack, as long as you are swapping it for one of your normal snacks or cutting back on the portion size of your lunch or dinner to compensate. On the other hand, if you were to get the Power size (30 oz) of the Peanut Butter Moo'd Smoothie, you would be consuming a diet disaster: 1170 calories(!) and 30 grams of fat, 7 of which are saturated. For most people, that's half (or more) of the calories you should have in a whole day, and more saturated fat than you should eat in a whole day. If you drank a Power size Peanut Butter smoothie everyday on top of your regular breakfast, lunch and dinner and didn't significantly increase your exercise to compensate, then absolutely you would gain weight.

So, the long and short of it is that if you are really jonesing for a Jamba Juice, go ahead and have one. We all need to allow ourselves a bit of a treat now and then, and as treats go, most Jamba Juices are going to be better for you than a candy bar or french fries or something of that nature. Just choose a small size juice and pay attention to the nutrition of the selection you make. And be sure to count the calories toward your daily total.

You will gain weight by eating more calories than you burn.

If you ate nothing but Jamba Juice, but you had 3000 calories a day and only burned 2000 a day, then yes, you would gain weight.

People seem to have a hard time getting this - it's not so much what you eat as how much you eat.

Everything is ok in moderation. Jamba Juice has less than 200 calories, but how many grams of carb and natural sugars from the fruit? That's all I can see that would be cause for concern. But again, if you don't drink 100 of them a day you won't hurt a diet!

You can find the nutritional values here for the drinks. Some are higher in carbs than others, so just be careful of that.

Jamba Juice is pretty healthy, so it won't pack on pounds like a sugary soft drink would. Jamba uses natural sugars that are already in the fruits, so that's a plus! I'm drinking a Jamba right now! Yummy!

I used to drink there stuff all the time!! And there are smoothies there that are low in calories and fat and some fat free- smoothies. You can eat anywhere, just as long as you make a healthy choice. I mean If you can eat a salad at McDonalds then you can have a smoothy at Jamba Juice. Plus you get that free boost, just get the fat burner one if you feel like it is neccesary. Good luck

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Jamba Juice is good for you if you have it every now and then. Just note, that there is a LOT of sugar in each one...some of them exceeding 100 grams of sugar so watch out!!
