If a friend of mine ever tried to date my younger brother i would be very upset. I dont think that it is right becuase it is a friend and family and friends should not mix in the dating world...

Yes. And that works both ways does it not? A woman may well want to avoid a relationship with a man who is a rape victim for the same reason; baggage. It is not a matter of damaged goods; not at all. But everyone you meet has a history of past events and they all make up the person. A rape victim might have certain difficulties in relating to normal women because he remembers his rapist. Or he may blame himself and thus have distorted views of how people can be together. But as I understand it, from professionals, rape victims can through therapy learn to have normal relationships too.

i think it's okay for a friend to date your brother as long as you trust them not be do anything bad to him. if your friends relationships tend to be short lived and she hooks up with lots of guys even when she's dating someone, then you have a right to not think it's great. blood is stronger than any friendship, you're brother is always gonna be their for you.
bottom line, it's your brothers choice. you have a say if you don't trust her, but it's over all his life.

Well Depends how much of an age diffrence if your friend is a good girl or mean it realy depends.But if my friend did that to my bro i would be mad cuz my bros 3 lol

yes i would not want my friends to date my brother because if they were to break up then it would cause problems with my friendship and i don't want to have a personal conflict of interest. but hey they are also adults so i really have no say what they do

If they are a good person I wouldn't care at all. I would prefer my brother dating someone I know over someone I don't.

I wouldnt want any of my friends dating my brother, because its weird and if they break up and its a bad break up, it might affect our friendship.
