Sounds like he's had an allergic reaction to something. Is he on a flea/tick medication currently? Fleas, dust, and food are very common allergies for dogs and cats. Have your vet run an allergy test so you can determine the path to take for treatment. Some allergies can be relieved with only Benadryl or change in food (if food allergy) while more serious allergy cases require more extensive treatment like a monthly allergy vaccine or oral medication like the steroid Prednisone. Unfortunately with animals their allergies only get worse with age. The only other possibility I can think of is if he's older and they're larger bumps they could be fatty growths or cysts. Hope this helps!

What kind of bumps? How big are they? Do you really mean ALL over or here and there all over his body? Very vague description so one can not really make a definite guess. If they are here and there on the body and the size of a penny and bigger, could very well be fatty tumors.Probably only eyes direct on could only tell for sure. I'd take the dog to the vet for a professional diagnosis.

It could be anything from a parasite to an allergy. If the dog is itching or rubbing a lot, you can give it Benadryl to ease the itching and irritation, and take the dog to the vet to find out what the problem is.

Dogs get fatty tumors just like people do. You might want to let the vet check it out. The most important question is are the fatty tumors changing the quality of your dog's life.

What kind of bumps? Like hives? Like flea bites? An allergy? Are they blisters? Pus-filled?

Could be hives which is an allergic reaction to something. You should call your vet and describe these bumps to him/her. Ask for the correct dosage of antihistamine....this should help if it is hives.

Maybe, it was attacked by a swarm of killer bees?????
Just kidding. Perhaps you are speaking of fatty tumors. Many dogs have them. I just had my vet check them in the beginning and not much else you can do.

How old is your dog? If he is older this is very common. If not he needs to be checked by a vet ASAP.

Sounds like fleas...or mosquito bites. If he's scratching a lot you might want to get some Advantx for him.
