You are not the first to think of this. I think in a few states, like Texas, Utah, California, Florida, and a few othres have a bill in legislation as we speak, is trying to up the punishment for child molesters to be eligible for the death penalty.
I agree in capital punishment, and I hope that someday this bill will pass.
A child is defenseless against an adult, and the ault should know better.

The reason that child molesters don't get hanged in public is because one of the Amendments in the Constitution. This Amendment states that there shall be no cruel or unusual punishment and hanging is sometimes considered a cruel and unusal punishment.

Because its not breaking a law that falls under capital punishment

I would have to check but I think we do not hang people anywhere in the US anymore (let alone in public).

I have more reason than most to hate child molesters, which is all I am going to say.

Most states don't allow hangings first of all, I think there are only 3 where it s still legal, although it isn't used. Second, public executions are not allowed either. Thirdly there isn't a death penalty for sex crimes unless they result in the death of the victim, and even then not always.

Because the bleeding heart liberals won't allow it.

I think the children that are being molested are the ones who are taking the cruel and unusual punishment. Damn you bleeding hearts probably want Charles Manson paroled and get his own talk show.

Good question, fellow "Devil Dog", and they should first be hung by their little head. Problem would be that all the bleeding heart organizations (and there are a few that would protest) would be out there trying to ruin it for everyone else. Good thought though.

Because I'm not the governor of a state yet!

If you ever become one, I would vote for you and conduct the first execution without a conscience.
