Wherever the first date is, make it something that is (1) memorable and (2) inexpensive. That way, if it works out and you stay together, it will be easy (and romantic) to re-create that first date on your "anniversary" or whenever!

take her somewhere fun. Not to a movie or something like that because you want to be able to talk and get to know each other better.Take her somewhere that she would like to have a blast at...if she's a fun person. If so, take her somewhere where yall can act silly...like skating or a go-kart place. I would think that it was totally cute. As the relationship progresses start taking her on nicer dates every once in a while...like to a nice restaurant. We love to see that you have a fun and obnoxious side and a serious, sensitive side!!hope this helps!!!

Find out what she likes, what makes her happy. A motel or your house on the 1st date can be a major turn off, or perhaps scare her. Candle lights dinners, a nice walk, or ride and kiss on the cheek and goodnight. So many men loose out, going after sex, trust me its a turn off to a good woman, or a woman that wants more out of life. Seriously find out what she enjoys, and you might find she enjoys somethings that you enjoy, surround your evening out, around what you both like, to insure a good fun date, that you both enjoy. If I enjoy myself with a guy, he don't have to kiss me, I'll kiss him and invite him in, or ask if we could spend the rest of the evening together.

Skating. It gives you a chance to be close enough to talk and even hold hands later if you want, which is good on a "first" date.

sometime during a conversation with him/her, pick up on something that they like. like maybe he/she like animals. take her/him to the zoo. or to a botanical garden. i think dinner and a movie for first date is so overrated.
