No one knows how, when, or why people fall in love with who they fall in love with. Sometimes it works out for the best and sometimes it doesn't. If you know for sure that the person does not love you back, then you should back off and try and work through your feelings so maybe you can stay or become friends.

Sure, there is nothing wrong with loving someone who doesn't love you back. You can love anyone you want to love. You are the only person who controlls that.

i have for about three years now, ever since my ex husband left to be with another woman. we've been divorce for a little over a year. but my love is the kind of love a woman should have for the father of her kids. i do know that i can't date other men till i get this resolved or sorted out. because i know if he came home i'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, we can't control who loves us back. The real question that I would pose to you is how much are you going to have to sacrifice of yourself for this person who doesn't even love you.
Get over it and move on. You deserve nothing less than someone who will love you back and that person is out there.

Love is given FREELY, trust is earned. Loving others does not diminish us in any way, and builds us into the best person we can be.
We run into problems when we EXPECT others to love us back because we love them. So don't 'fall in love' with someone who can't return it. That road holds only misery. Best of luck.

Why are you going to waste your time with someone who is not going to even care if you love them. Love should be something shared between two people not one.

Absolutely because I love my mom and dad and I know that they dont love me back~! Sometimes its just better to think that they do and go on with my life!

if the person doesnt 'love you back' then i think you really dont love them...love takes two and if you arent getting any cooperation from the other person in the relationship it's kinda pointless. dont waste your time!!!

yeah but don't count on them learning to love you it rarely happens. And you end up getting the short end of he stick a broken heart.(love stinks)
