There are always many Gods. And everyone will tell you that theirs is true and the rest false.

The bible actually says there are two gods:

1. The creator of everything and the god of love.

2. The god of this world, aka satan (meaning adversary), the devil (meaning slanderer or false accuser), the evil one of hate and destructiveness who rules over this world with a rod of iron and who is truly responsible for all the pain and suffering in the world today.

To be a follower is to be an imitator of God. It is to imitate his ways and heart. I.e to walk in love to love god and to love others.

So which God will you choose?

I beleive in ONE HIGHER POWER. Not Christian God not Allah, Not... Uhm.... I dunno. Thor? Because i cannot believe that a poor lil Australian aborigine living a good life in the jugle will go to hell just because he didn't believe in a God he didnt know existed. Same with the indians of old, and pretty much any other religion that doesnt accept CHRISTIAN or MUSLIM God, but still live a good honest kick butt snuggly life.

Despite what others will say, other Gods are not fake. They are all the same God, being looked at differently. God is too big to be accuratly described by one religion. Religions are simply views of God, and can be paths to get to know him/her.

Because lots of ppl believe differently. For example: Catholics worship Mary, because she gave birth to Jesus. Jews believe that Jesus has yet to come. Baptist believe that Jesus came, rose, and is HERE now. Mormons believe that God only allows a certain amount of believers in heaven. ect. There is only one God. The one the Bible talks about. The one in my heart.

That's prove that there is no God. If there was one he would have the power to appear to all races and places in the same way with the same message. Sorry to dissapoint you

People of different religions perceive God differently. I doubt there are lots of Gods. One for each religion seems absurd.

Because Christians insist that their god is the only True God, even though they don't even realize that, in their own holy book, their god recognizes numerous others.

Everyone is a follower of God - if they recognize it or not. We are all on the same path to the afterlife, and it is the same place for everyone.

It's not that there are lots of different gods, it's just he is known by many MANY names.

But don't you think it's sad we fight over what his name REALLY is.

I say his name is Larry, he told me last night.
