YES! I'm friends with many of my x's. With some it took some time to "get over" the hurt. But in the end we both liked each other for who we were, but didn't want to be "together".
I only have a couple x's that I don't talk to ever. They made that choice, or they made it very clear that they didn't want to talk/see again me after it was all said and done.
But generally, I'm on good/friendship terms with most

I have found from experience that it is difficult to remain friends. There are always feelings hurt and disappointment when you try to remain friends. Alot of people say they want to remain friends, but that will fade away as you both move on with your lives. Ask yourself this...Would you be comfortable with your present gf/bf being friends with their ex?

It depends on if the ex still has feelings left for you and vice/versa. If there are still feelings involved I think it would be extremely difficult to remain friends, especially if one of you has started a new relationship.

its possible expecially when there is a child involved ....you have to remain civilized for that but yes I think now after all was said and done I am still friends with my ex

yes you can. Being ex's shouldnt stop you from being friends. You are ex's for a reason right so why cant you be friends

yes, most people can't but you can if you both are mature and are close, just talk to the other person make sure you are on the same page, and he or she is OK with it, and do it just be friends god knows you can never have enough good friends in life, good luck'

Of course you can. Just dont act all embarrased around him/her. Act normally, like ask them how they are and what they're up to, and just be completely normal!
I have stayed friends with ALL my ex's!
