Increased energy, activity, and restlessness -- excessively "high," overly good, euphoric mood -- extreme irritability -- racing thoughts & talking very fast, jumping from one idea to another -- Distractibility, can't concentrate well, little sleep needed, unrealistic beliefs in one's abillities and powers, poor judgment, spending sprees, a lasting period of behavior that is different from usual, increased sexual drive, abuse of drugs, particularly cocaine, alcohol & Sleeping medications, provocative, intrusive, or aggressive behavior, denial anything is wrong

There are lots of signs of bipolar disorder. The best thing to do is to see a doctor/psyciatrist. But if you want to check into it for yourself then there is a website that is very useful.

I am Bipolar & I am getting sick of these questions but in a nutshell highs & lows - go to the library & read all about it. I'm sure you have it everyone else does

Symptoms of MANIA include: feeling on-top-of-the-world, talking rapidly, thinking rapidly, having tons of energy, starting projects and not finishing them, spending money, speeding, lots of sex, not needing sleep

Symptoms of DEPRESSION include: Fatigue, feeling sad, not getting out of bed, gaining weight, losing weight, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, crying spells, sleeping all day,


BUT, these mood episodes DO NOT occur constantly. Episodes usually last weeks or months. Like a person will be depressed for weeks then may be stable. Then may be manic for weeks. Then may be stable.....

Being bypolar means that you change moods to quickly and feel emotions faster than others. This is treatable with medications and scicatric help
